Amazon Prime Day Top Picks
Christmas in July, Nordstrom Semi-Annual Sale, Amazon Prime Day... We really have been suckered into shopping in the month of July, haven't we?!? Well I am always looking for ways to save some money - especially now that I'm a SAHM with two babes!
I have always been confused by Amazon Prime Day, so I wanted to share a few of my favorite deals to make it a little easier for you - mostly stuff we use in our house or awesome deals for new moms!
So first things first, if you don't have Amazon Prime - I'm telling you, you're missing out! It's SO much more than free shipping - we use our membership obviously for the shipping, but also Amazon Music, Amazon Video, Prime Now, Audible, Baby Registry & Wedding Registry, and so much more! If you don't have a Prime membership, you can get a free 30 day trial (which will let you take advantage of the Prime Day Deals)!

Things My Family Loves:
First of all, if you don't have an Echo or Echo Dot - you need one! We use ours ALL the time - in fact, McKinley tries to talk to "Alexa" whenever we ask her to play music, or play the Bobby Bones show, or tell us a story, or ask about the weather, or tell us a joke. This is their best sale Amazon runs on them, so I'd recommend getting one now! (We just have the Echo Dot which works great, but if you want to connect them to each other or to other devices/light bulbs/etc. in your house, you should go with the Echo.)
We cut cable a few months ago, so our only source of TV is using our Fire TV - we use it to
stream mostly Hulu, but you can do Netflix, ESPN, YouTube, and even log into your cable network to watch your cable outside your home. I wasn't sure the differences between an Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV, etc. but I love how easy our Fire Stick is to use - I think it's just personal preference, but a Fire TV is only $34.99 & a Fire TV Stick is only $19.99 for Prime Day, so DONE!
My Wishlist:
We moved into our house 4 years ago, and there was no doorbell then, and there's no doorbell now. We keep talking about getting Ring, so that we can see who's at the door. My husband likes the safety and security of being able to access it anywhere, and I like knowing who's at the door when I'm home with the twins.
We exclusively use Amazon Music and LOVE it! It's free with our Prime membership and you can get a lot of great music, but there are definitely gaps in it. A lot of the new music only comes with Amazon Music Unlimited, so since it's only $0.99 for 4 months for Prime Day, we might need to try out!
We have managed to keep the girls away from screens for the most part up until this point, and we're hoping it stays that way - but we're realistic, and we know it will probably happen - especially as they get into their toddler years and there's TWO of them! So when we get there, I think we will be looking to Amazon Free Time to keep them occupied when we're in the car or mom needs a hot minute to go to the bathroom or empty the dishwasher!
