Coconut Oil - the Good, Awesome, FAT
On another health issue . . . there's Coconut Oil!! I first read about Coconut Oil over a year and a half ago, and use it and olive oil exclusively. There are many health benefits to coconut oil, including diabetes, thyroid problems, weight loss, antiseptic effects, antiviral, etc. There's lots of information at CoconutOil.com and TropicalTraditions.com
I personally use it on my face every night as a moisturizer because it's oily but not greasy. I use the Expeller Pressed to cook with (because it's more economical especially when on sale) and I use Virgin Coconut Oil medicinally for sunburns, mesquito bits, any type of cut, yeast infection on my baby's bottom (cured in 2 days and no Dr. visit!), etc.
I say all this to tell you that there's great deal if anyone would like to try it. TropicalTraditions.com is an excellent source of high quality coconut oil - but I only buy it when it's on sale. Right now you can get a pint for only $7.99 which is normally $19. I obviously don't get any type of commission or anything - just letting people know so you have a opportunity to better your health a natural way and get rid of some nasty oils in your diet!!
