And thus it begins...

I'm lounging around in the Eastern Iowa Airport, running an encrypted tunnel back to the office, so I can surf securely. I'm flying down to Texas for training and certification on Mikrotik routers. I'll try to post updates as they happen, along with some pictures, and anything else interesting that happens. Not that I expect too many people are interested in the finer details of routing, but... it's a trip, so I'm supposed to blog about it. I think that's how it works?

so, are they using dijkstra's algorithm for their routing? i would guess not, but in using the probable table approach, do they use bellman-ford, ford-fulkerson, or some other algorithmic approach? i really am somewhat interested and not just blowing smoke :)

I just wish that I had reason to use the phrase "running an encrypted tunnel" in describing my daily life. :)
