Excellent...

I just finished putting new brake pads on my car. Locks up all 4 very nicely now when asked. I feel safer. The old ones... sucked.

Rear calipers need rebuilding though. Not critical, but in the next few months.

man... it seems like all that you will have left of that car that you bought on it will be the frame... at least by the time that your done with it.

You've heard about Tony's headgasket right?

Last I heard he was in the process of removing it. What's the story on it now?

And... yea. I'm replacing/repairing all the parts that break. The good news is that I'll have pretty much new systems on it around. The not so great news is that the frame doesn't have infinite time left on it - there's some decent rust under it. It's good for a few years, but eventually I'll probably find a rolling chassis & move my parts over into it. Or something. I'm getting fairly close to "done" on my list of major things. Intake is still on the list, as is new tires & possible suspension work. Sadly, I can't really afford any of these right now.

well good luck w/ that :)

I don't think Tony got through with the project and according to his wife if he didn't finish before their moving date (this friday?) they would sell the truck.

So if you want another project... ;)

Ooooo... I'll be in town to help move.

Electric pickup... or replace the head gasket, and make a racing pickup! :-) Or at least something to screw around in & not worry too much about dinging up. Redneck Pickup? I could do a whole series!
