Kicking some major butt

So much to write about! Tonight I had the honor of attending the United Community Schools Christmas program co directed by the lovely Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Heerema (and the other lady too, but she didn’t matter as much). Now, this Christmas program reminded me just how much I love watching little kids on stage, wave to their mom and dads when their not suppose to, and shout (not sing) as loud as they can. I was a little confused when the kindergarteners started singing the farmer in the dell, as it was a Christmas show, but no worry, the kid who did very dramatic movements when they sang “the cheese stands alone” made my night :). Made me think back to when I was one of those kids up there, making the biggest hand gestures I could to get the most attention I could, can you believe that?

Next funny story of the day. I was with the Kindergarten class I tutor today and they were asked to write a sentence saying “look at my…”. At the end of their sentence they were suppose to put something simple we had talked about like “look at my hands, look at my eyes”. Well, one of the boys turns to me and says, “I am going to draw the whole digestive system.” Woah!

Last but not least, yesterday was an exciting day in Tae Kwon do. More sweaty hugs you ask? No, even better! I got to break three different boards with my foot! Hi ya! Take that! I know what my Dad would say to that… Everybody was kung foo fighting, da da da da da da da da da.
