Gross old men and sweaty hugs
Ok, so i'm sorry to write again so soon, but i have two great stories to share with you!
So, last night i went to see Jesus Christ Superstar here in Ames. It was a great musical and if any of you ever get a chance to see it, go! Anyway, so i am walking out of the auditorium and this older couple, about 70 years old or so, is walking out behind us. The lady starts talking about how much she liked the play and her husband responds, "Yes, it was good, and there were chicks!" GROSS! This guy is old enough to be my grandpa! If any of you have seen this musical, he was talking about Herod's chicks, or Herod's ladies that serve him and are implied to give him is pleasures.
So one more story. This semester i have been taking a Tae Kwon Do class and really enjoying it. Our instructor is your typical, "good job little grasshopper" type and today was giving us instruction on family and how to love and hug them. Great i thought, i like my family, should be fine. But no, he made us practice how we were going to hug our parents on a partner of the opposite sex. And you know, it wouldn't have been so bad, but this was right after we had just worked out and i had to give some guy i didn't even know a gross sweaty hug! So rest assured mom and dad, i will now be fully prepared to give you a proper hug... sweaty or not.
