The Ring & Fun
So, 80 days 8 hours to go... and soon I'll be married. (aka: 9-23-06) (Just thought I would throw that out there. ;) )
Anyhoo, some have wanted to see the ring. Here's a picture: 
It's a 6mm band (14k white gold) with a 8pt diamond flanked by our birthstones, or rather similar looking sapphires which hold up better than our birthstones: garnet & emerald.
We registered at Target last night. That was fun. We regisistered for a lot of things we think we'll need striking it out on our own together. Then we had some fun with the scanner gun and got a few things that, well, if you check it out, will probably make you laugh. :) We were having a blast in the store about some of the things I scanned, or at least Wendy was really giving me a hard time about them.
Hey, if you have a passion for photography, let me know. It was a little dark the day we took our engagment pictures and we need a little help from someone to get us to look good together in a picture (aka helping us pose)- which neither of us really like taking.

I will re-state something I said when you announced your engagement... GREAT job on the ring! Beautiful! I'd go with you to the photo shoot and give my advice on poses...

We here in chicago find ourselves a little confused about whether this is the engagment ring or your wedding ring? Either way.... very sweet.... and if it's the engagement ring.... what on earth is wendy's wedding ring gonna look like??

The Sapphires are a nice touch. I'm thinking when I buy a ring (in the distant future), I'll have to consult with people like you who do a good job at it.
