There's something in my shoe

Yesterday when leaving a friends house (they will remain anonymous) I put on my shoes. In stepping outside I felt something under the arch of my foot. I thought maybe one of the laces got stuck in so I did a quick cursorily swipe with my hand. After going 100 feet I decided to remove whatever it was.

Turns out I had a large recently deceased yet moist cricket in my shoe.
Mmm Mmm Tasty!

I bet it made a really great squishing noise on the first step.

Interesting that a cockroach would choose your shoe for its sarcophagus :)

Tom - it did not.
Autumn - It seems perfectly natural to me although I doubt very much the roach was attempting suicide.

Taste like chicken.

EW! EW! EW! You should totally tell your friend. That is something that just must be taken care of! EW! EW! EW!

I have stepped into my shoe and found a child's half eaten waffle before, that was squishy.

So Christie read this and corrected me. It wasn't a cockroach it was a cricket. I knew that I just wrote the wrong thing.
