Speed Up?

Well the speed limit on Iowa interstates will now be 70mph instead of 65. Vilsack signed the bill and now we get to go from an average of 69.8 miles an hour to probably over 75.

"If there's someone who says, 'Great, the speed limit has gone up to 70, so now I can go 75' -- that would be a mistake," the governor said.

Officials have said motorists largely ignore the state's current 65 mph speed limit. Vilsack said he was told the average speed is 69.8 mph.

That won't be the case with the new speed limit, he said.

Having laws that aren't enforced only undermines respect for the law.
From the ISU Daily

I guess this is good news for Mike Biang who follows the speed limit.
How fast will I go? I'll have to think about that one.

No such thing as coincidence

And that’s what scares me! I got the “hallelujah” call from GCM at 1:43pm today releasing me from full time support raising. I was coached to say that I “wasn’t done support raising” that I just finished with “my initial goal”. Anyway, this is cause to celebrate. Michael, Matt, Tim and I went to Long John Silvers for lunch (My first time there, regretfully I cannot in good conscience recommend the food) to celebrate early but it ended up being right on time as we were finishing our meal the call came.

And that’s it I am free to do full time ministry. YEAY!
The coincidence is that today is also the day that they have picked a new pope. Since God orchestrates everything there must be a tie in there somewhere…

Digital Prints

So anybody know the best place to get digital pictures developed?
Surfing online has brought me the regular places: (all sized at 4x6)
Walmart $0.17
Target $0.25
Walgreens $0.29
And some others:
Kodakgallery.com $0.25
Shutterfly.com $0.19-0.25 (whatever that means)
and finally:
photocheap.biz at an amazing advertized $0.108
(though it is with a prepaid plan. regular prints are $0.14)

So it seems as if Walmart wins again. But are their pics the best quality? I need some experience here from you who have owned and printed from a digicam.

Version 2

I would like to introduce www.paulandchristie.org ver 2.0

Matt and I whipped up version 1 in a night when it should have been in beta testing. Not that there was any structural or "coming soon" problems with the site but its overall graphical look was a little shaky. So I have gone back and reworked it... a lot.

Same ideas, different take. Maybe I will re-design this blog soon...
This is actually probably more what matt was thinking the whole time. I apologize to him for putting out such a low grade looking site with his name in the design credits.

We need prayer BAD

Call everyone you know and ask them to pray.

Christie and I need $115 more dollars per month to finish our initial support raising.

We have been praying like crazy that God would finish us up while we are here and we only have two appointments left.

We will have had 14 appointments in the last two weeks and we have heard back from 6 of those people already with monthly support and special gifts.

We just need $115 more dollars.
Please encourage me with a comment that says that you are praying.
