Great is Thy Faithfulness

Night conjures it symphony of darkness out of the very ground itself.
It is not for lack of light that the blackness comes.
It just comes.
I have seen that raindrop fall from great heights.
It starts so high so alone.
It falls gathering strength and speed.
The earth spreads before it as an aching tomb.
It comes to rest with a finality that can never be questioned ...ruined upon colorless terrain.
More troubled drops appear and commit a similar crime but cannot soften the visage of this deathly place.
Do you know a place where hope is gone and all that remains is patience?
Where peace has long since dried and anxiety tears the flesh?
Where terror eats even any feeling of light?
I know of one only.
This is not that place.

This is not that place.

WOW, Paul!! This left me stuned and speechless . . . and in utter awe of the saving GRACE and MERCY of our Lord. Praise Jesus for that which he gave his life for US. Thanks for the reminder that any challenge or situation we face is really... meaningless.

okay...so i usually don't have time to read blogs, but i'm all aloneo in the office for awhile today. paul, as i was reading through the last four or five entries, i was quite impressed with the variety. you certainly kept me guessing about what you would write about next. and you definitely have a talent with words... good job.

AND finally, i would just like to clear up my reputation by saying that i don't believe i ever said mike biang wasn't an intellectual. and if i did, it was probably somewhere in the midst of a ridiculous conversation about evangelistic dating...oh, there's a story.
