I think that it needs to be noted that Tim Borseth opponent to blogging everywhere sent out a lengthy email and refered to it as a sort of "bog" entry:
"It's like a bog except it's just one e-mail."
We can interpret this in two ways:
1) Tim's facination with Dinosaurs and geology has spilled into the english wetland realm.
or
2) He is seeing the power and relaxation afforded by writing ones thoughts out and then informing everyone he knows about them. In short he is becoming (gasp) a blogger.
He almost has one on his site in the news section.
K, thats enough sensationalism for 1am on a Sunday evening. G-nite all.

I vote for option 1. I don't think he knows what a blog is at all, but rather he is obsessed with the ecological state of Iowa's marshland.
