Random Thoughts
So its sunny down here in Florida today, and the world is bright. I am off to Universal Studios Islands of Adventure and am looking forward to a day full of surprises!! ;)
So here is what you can do:
Share your earliest happy memory.
One of my earliest happy memories was sitting on the front porch of our red duplex in Ames, Ia and my mom cutting my hair. She promised me grapes or m&m's or something if I sat still. I remember the hair tickling my ears and the sun through the trees. There was a big english sheep dog nextdoor that bit my sister at sometime during our 3-4 years there. But it was a happy time, before the cares of the world had come crashing in.
During highschool I actually wrote a poem about this experience. My teacher really like it and read it to the class. So there you are, my early memory.

i can't remember which was first, but both are good, so here it goes. (waves goodbye)
i was in the hospital with my Uncle Dick, and he stole my nose, we watched the Cubs game, who he was a fan of, and ate horrible hospital food.
The other is making a bad video with plastic army men. It involved quarter sticks, bottle rockets, and a sixty packer of fireworks. Making a fake war is so much fun.
My question to you is what is your favorite moment of life so far?

My first happy memory was when my Pee-Wee Hockey team on the championship. We lost every single game that season, but you automatically are in the playoffs.
I actually scored a goal. I took this hug wind up and shot the puck really slowly and it slid a across the ice at a snail's pace. However, everyone thought it was really fast and in the air. I got it on video tape, and everyone is looking around trying to find it. The goalie was looking in the corner when it slid between his legs!
I was a hero for about one minute.

I was sitting on the deck at my house and it was my birthday. I had just received a package of hello kitty markers as well as a pink polka dot umbrella. I remember being so happy as I drew all over my legs with the markers.

As you may or may not know, the first three years of my life were spent in Oklahoma City, OK.
It very rarely snows there, so winter clothing/gear isn't needed.
One winter it managed to snow a couple inches...but even still the weather was quite warm. So, I ran around with bare feet and summer clothing in the snow. Fantastic. If only we could do that in IA...To this day I like snow, but absolutely detest the cold.
