Beyond the Surreal
By Gregory J. Ochab

V1
You missed the ground you fell to
The stars are now below you
Confused you feel for ground
Found that you were upside-down
V2
You scream out in silence
The fields cry nothing back
Darkness is half around
Then your sky comes crashing down, crashing down

Chorus:
There was never perfection
In the world that you knew
And the place that was yours
Can no longer be real
Beyond the surreal
The place we ignore
True perfection exists
And somehow we know

V3
In a place full of strangeness
That has known your ways
You push away what has happened
The realization allayed

Bridge:
But there is a hope
There is A sincere
And though unseen
There is someone there

Concert Bomb

I just got back from a concert. It was pretty sweet. At the Waters' church in Berkeley......let's see, Last First Kiss was billed second but ended up playing first out of four. That's how things go when your an acoustic act. Then there was an acoustic solo.....originally supposed to be a band called "The Other Band" but the whole band except the lead singer canceled. Then my old guitar teacher Paul Velat was with a band called the "Eric Kmiec Quartet" despite the fact that they are a trio, and then Aaron Waters' screamo band "Domestic Play" finished it off.

There was an awesome cover of a song called "I am a bomb, until I find something better to do". It was basically that line over and over. It's from a band called "MOTO", but I've heard the CD is adult content so I'm gonna have to see if I can get that song off of iTunes or something. Anyway, don't eat popsickles while sitting on a heating pad, and don't forget that Huck Finn pants rock!
