Concert Bomb
I just got back from a concert. It was pretty sweet. At the Waters' church in Berkeley......let's see, Last First Kiss was billed second but ended up playing first out of four. That's how things go when your an acoustic act. Then there was an acoustic solo.....originally supposed to be a band called "The Other Band" but the whole band except the lead singer canceled. Then my old guitar teacher Paul Velat was with a band called the "Eric Kmiec Quartet" despite the fact that they are a trio, and then Aaron Waters' screamo band "Domestic Play" finished it off.
There was an awesome cover of a song called "I am a bomb, until I find something better to do". It was basically that line over and over. It's from a band called "MOTO", but I've heard the CD is adult content so I'm gonna have to see if I can get that song off of iTunes or something. Anyway, don't eat popsickles while sitting on a heating pad, and don't forget that Huck Finn pants rock!

A week to remember
This has been a long week. Some of the best things have happened, but there were a lot of problems that went with the good things. I just need to keep praying, and doing my best to stay at the center of God's will.
Let's just say it won't be a week I forget.
One of the good things.....is that today is Rachael Romano's nineteenth birthday! Happy birthday Rae!!! You mean a lot to me....

Formatting 'n stuff
Sorry that I haven't posted in awhile. Everything has been really busy lately with my family moving, practicing music, going to school and work, and preparing for Christianity In Focus Week.
As you probably noticed, I am doing some reformatting on the site. Matt Heerema was nice enough to set up this account for me, because it has a lot more features than the HaloScan stuff I was using. It will probably take me awhile to make it look right though, if I ever do........
I have had a lot of tough decisions to make lately. I know that many of them will affect the rest of my life, and that gives me doubt sometimes. I was encouraged today when a friend showed me this verse;
"Be happy, young man, while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and whatever your eyes see, but know that for all these things God will bring you to judgment."Ecclesiastes 11:9
That was just encouraging to me that God wants me to use my desires for him. God wants to use my talents and passions because they will take me and the gospel farther than it would for me to just do tasks in areas I am not gifted in. One of these days I'll explain this deeper......
