Neither Here Nor There
I got a phone call this morning letting my know that I have an interview in St. Paul (MN) tomorrow at 2:30. It's for a Legislative Assistant position with a Minnesota State Senator. Sound familiar? That's because I've interviewed for the exact same position before. Then got offered the job. Then turned it down to work for the campaign in Iowa. Only it's for a different senator this time.
So I made half of the drive tonight, will make the rest tomorrow morning before the interview, stay in MN and hang out with friends until Thursday or Friday, and then spend the weekend in Ames! Not a bad deal.
But wait. Taking this job will mean moving back to Minnesota.
It's not that I haven't thought about that. I spent four years in Minnesota wishing I was somewhere else. There is the possibility that I could get a certain job in Ames that I've had my eye on in December.
It's October. I've been unemployed since August.
This is my second chance at a good job in MN. I think I'd better take it. Granted, I'd have to start from scratch at a church as far as meeting people, but at least there is a GCM church in Minneapolis. I'm sure there are cool people there too...
Anyway, I guess it's just an interview, so I don't have to make my final decision... yet.

wow unemployed for 2 months im impressed iv been unemployed for like 4 days and im going CRAZY so ya good luck on your interview and remember God will provide what we need not what we desire (something that is hitting me)
