Kandela's 2006 Christmas Newsletter

Hello!

Only 45 days until Christmas and I’ve already got -We Wish You a Merry Christmas- running through my head! I am so excited!

I have no idea how you are doing on your Christmas list, but I have already started dreaming and doing some shopping of my own. Whether you are like me and have already made some progress or are in the camp of people thinking, “No sweat! I still have 44 days until I need to go shopping,” my newest scents could just be the perfect gift for several “someones” on your list. That said, I am eager to announce Kandela’s newest fragrances for this Christmas season!

Candles with a regular intensity:
-Jack Frost- A holiday favorite, fresh cool peppermint with a hint of pine
-Caramel- Sweet brown sugar scent with a touch of vanilla
-Hazelnut Coffee- A hazelnut coffee blend
-Snickerdoodle- Fresh baked cookies, right from the oven
-Caramel Cappuccino- A nutty cappuccino with the perfect blend of caramel scent

Candles with a strong intensity:
-Mistletoe- A festive Siberian pine needle scent
-Cranberry Marmalade – A blend of tart cranberries with a hint of spiced apples
-Vanilla Hazelnut- A mouthwatering blend of toasted hazelnuts and creamy vanilla
-Pumpkin Spice*- A warm and spicy pumpkin-clove scent with a cinnamon top note
-Cinnamon Buns*- Cinnamon undertone with a mix of vanilla and butter to sweeten
*These scents are already offered in the regular intensity; however, I now have them in the strong intensity, as well!!

Listed below are the scents that I have had up to this time and will continue to carry in the future.

Candles with a regular intensity:
-Autumn Harvest
-Cinnamon Buns
-Fresh Waterfall
-Jasmine Vanilla
-Pumpkin Pie

Candles with a strong intensity:
-Cinnamon Stick
-Crème Brule
-Fresh Gingerbread
-Gardenia
-Hot Apple Pie

Each $12 Kandela candle is an 18 ounce hand poured soy candle. Each candle comes in a glass jar with lid which features a ribbon tied around the neck. Every candle comes gift wrapped and ready to give anytime, especially perfect for those last minute shoppers. Also, gift tags are available upon request.

Currently, if you are located in the Iowa City/Coralville area, I offer free delivery. If you are out of the area, shipping is $7 for the first candle and $1.50 for each additional candle.

Now for the exciting news… I decided to participate in my first craft show later this month. My friend, Rachel, and I have secured a booth at Sycamore Mall for Friday, November 17 through Sunday, November 19. If you are in the area that weekend, please stop by… we would love to see you there!

Last but not least, I will be having my first candle party open house sometime in early December. Watch for an upcoming email with the details!

Thank you again for your support as I embark on this new adventure. I couldn’t be doing so without all of you!

Remember, only 45 day!

I will vouch for the caramel scented candle- it truly is amazing. I didn't think I would like it much when Mike brought it home because I thought it would be too sweet, but it smells sooo yummy. It makes it smell like someones been baking all sorts of great treats in the kitchen!
