Points of interest:

We didn't have a computer for a few weeks so I haven't blogged in a while. I know some "blog worthy" things happened in that time, but I can't remember that. I decided to post a random thoughts that will get me back in the loop.

-Praise the Lord that my elastic pants are fitting better now! :)
-Quote from Max Cramer this week: (I was asking him about their camping trip this summer) "We went hunting for WILDERBEASTES!... But we didn't find any..." (Ask later and I can sound that out for you!)
-It is amazing how fast the week goes by when you measure the fact that both of my bathrooms need cleaned AGAIN!
-We are traveling to Ames (and surrounding areas) for the next 4 weeks! Wow.
-I told my mother in law that it was getting harder to bend over and pick things up off the ground and she offered to give me her cane with a pincher thing on the end of it that she received when she had back surgery. Part of me is horrified, but the other part thinks that would be great!
-"Jr." seems to really like chocolate cupcakes...hmmmm.
-My husband tied one of my shoes this week just so I wouldn't have to bend over again. :)
-I tried another bite of coleslaw just to see if I like it yet... no go.
-We are working on a "Top ten list of things NOT to say to your pregnant wife" at our house. But you will have to ask Jason if you want specifics. :)
-I am pretty convinced that we are having a girl due to the fact that I keep navigating towards "pink" everywhere I shop. However, Jason bet Matt Eisenhammer a Great Plains Pizza that we are having a boy. Hmmm.

I think that hits the high points of the last few weeks! Hopefully that helped me get back into the blogging world. Lata'

Quote:

I read this quote today from Tom Short:

"God help us to live each day now in such a way that we will be glad we did once we enter eternity."

Amen.

"Jr." - 27 weeks today

Here is an update about the lil' one from babycenter.com.

"How your baby's growing: Your baby is really starting to fill up your uterus. This week he weighs almost 2 pounds and is about 14.4 inches long with his legs extended. He can now open and close his eyes, and he sleeps and wakes at regular intervals. He may suck his fingers, and although his lungs are still immature, they would be capable of functioning — with assistance — if he were to be born prematurely. Chalk up any rhythmic movement you may be feeling to a case of baby hiccups, which may be common from now on. Each episode usually lasts only a few moments, and isn't bothersome to him, so enjoy the tickle. With more brain tissue developing, your baby's brain is very active now. "
