1301 & 1303 Dodge Street Court
We are homeowners!! And landlords! Jason and I closed on our duplex over lunch today. I wrote the 2nd largest check of my life... I just have to remember that this is considered an investment. :) I am excited though. Since living in Iowa City I have lived in 5 different places in 2 years. That is a lot of moving. It will be so nice to settle down and "nest". We are painting and cleaning this weekend and moving on Monday night. Yeah!!!
I have decided that getting married, buying a house and having a kid is enough "major" life changes for one year. Ok, more like 11 months. We are done for a while! :)

Picture this...
pregnant lady jumps on bathroom sink in 1/18th of a second and screams at the top of her lungs as a giant roach kindly races across the bathroom floor.
Yep, that about sums it up. :)

Desperate times call for desperate measures...
I know that this is probably not a typical "Leah Rohlf Post", but I decided to give it a go anyway. I have been thinking about this since Sunday night when I made this discovery.
The worst thing that I have ever thrown up is:
Drum roll please......
Salad.
(With steak burritos coming close in 2nd place.)
Oh my gosh. Lettuce is the worst when it has been digested. Too many tiny pieces that get caught in your throat that cause you to continue to cough and heave in order to get everything out. Huge bummer. I was completely exhausted on Sunday night.
Sorry if I have officially grossed anyone out, but I am trying to make light of this and have a good attitude! :) So I wanted to take a poll...
