Quote of the month.... no year!
"Are you getting FAT yet?!?...*snicker*"
Any guesses of which gender graced me with that comment this morning?

Jesus playing short stop?
There have been some very weird dreams here in the Rohlf household the past few weeks. The title actually came from Jason yesterday. He was snoozing on the couch and woke up and told me that he dreamed Jesus was playing short stop and he was stealing second base. (He is in a fantasy baseball team... I think that is his excuse.:)
I, however, have no excuse except for this little kiddo inside of me. Here are a few highlights from the past few nights.
-I am charging across a cornfield at full speed in the dead of night riding a deer. (It talks as well!)
-I am holding a sniper riffle and ready to shoot at someone all the while sipping a pepsi. When I shot, I missed. Go figure.
-I got a to-go meal from a taco joint and they had fortune cookies included in the meal.
-I found a hidden staircase when I moved the kleenex box from the shelf in an old haunted house. It was a spiral staircase that each step looked like it was suspended in the air.
-A family member was at Mayo clinic for cancer and I ran into a friend from Ames High who was with there with his mom for the same thing.
-Some lady dropped off her 1 day old newborn baby and told me she was going to be gone for six weeks. I tried to give it a bath and I think the water was too hot, it turned purple, but never cried. Eak!
Well, those are just from the past few nights. I can't remember further back. But there is some pretty weird stuff that I wake up thinking, "Where in the world did that come from?" I found this online today at babycenter.com.
"Dreams are like funhouse mirrors that reflect your emotional state. Since pregnancy can feel like an emotional roller coaster, don't be surprised if your dreams become more vivid and crazy than usual. Dreams also become more vivid during pregnancy because of increased progesterone and increased awakenings from dream-filled REM (rapid eye movement) sleep.
Some experts think pregnancy dreams, which can be about everything from tadpoles and fishes to talking animals and towering skyscrapers, symbolize your excitement, fear, and apprehension about the physical and emotional changes happening to you. They believe that certain themes are common to each stage of pregnancy. "
I could have told you that! But I feel better knowing that I am not the only one out there experiencing this.
Until next time....

Garage Sales...
I am beginning to think that we should find out the gender of our child. Rachel Meyer and I have been garage sailing the last several weeks. Only to come up with little. However, today we both hit jackpot. Baby clothes galore... and they were cheap! Praise the Lord! However, since neither one of us knows what we are having...we both ended up buying for each gender. I walked away with 2 pairs of overalls, 2 pairs of jeans, 1 pair of kaki's, 5 little girl outfits and 6 little boy outfits. And a diaper bag for $2! All of this might seem like a lot, but it all cost under $20! Seriously, the Target clearance rack had things marked for $3.50 this week and that was as low as they were going. I had thought those clothes were a good deal. Most everything I bought today was under $1! Did I mention they are cute??? :) Yeah!! However, I think by the time this over... we will have enough clothes to dress a small family, not just one baby. It was fun though and I am so thankful for the good deals that God led us to!
