yum yum in my tum
the other day i was kindly telling netta how wierd she is for eating pancakes every single day. our other friend backed her up admitting she eats pizza almost every day and netta was like "come on there isn't something that you eat pretty much every day?" and i said "no" still thinking people are wierd who like one food that much. well i was humbled this afternoon as i was sitting down to eat a bowl of oatmeal realizing, i have eaten a bowl of oatmeal for about a week straight. and with the exception of this summer because we didnt have it, i do eat and have eaten in the past, oatmeal consistently. i love it. some people thinks its gross, i cherish it. ok ok, add me to my own list of wierd people.

last post from chicago suburbs
so being overwhelmed by there being too many choices to blog about has all in all kept me from blogging at all.
to start: cool God story. so for a long time i have hated digital cameras, mostly im a photo album girl. i love prints and i love my camera which takes AMAZING pics. but i decided that above that i am a photo girl and i take way too many pictures so in the end i should have a digital. well so i've been wanting one for YEARS now. struggles with coveting and trusting. i finally had the moola last year but didn't have the peace. just couldn't justify spending it on myself like that. then salt came (financial strain) gave up idea. then god provided hugely for salt, saved up money. "finally!" i thought. well then car breaks. $300 later, i got new brakes but no camera. some tears, i manage to get over it. then salt gives us $200 back! i say "hey god you gave me the money back, im getting a camera!" had peace, so i did and it is way fun. new photos on flickr
my stay here in chitown has been a little extended due to some events and visits from old pals. thats been nice, but i've been having a hard time with everything being so out of my control and not going as i had planned. imagine that. god wants to be god.
my oldest and dearest bestest friend heather is moving. as much as i have wanted to blog a whole entry about it, i cant so, enough said about that or there are sure to be mucho tears. im so happy for her and spending extra time with her lately has been fantastic. wouldnt have it any other way.
went to the zoo finally. took all my neices and nephews. good times good times. finished up at coffeeland. there were some tears and flowers involved that was cool. getting excited to finally go back though. ames seems almost a dream now i've been here so long. last time i'll post from here though, tomorrow its on the road again.
ooh and i will be happy to stop living out of my car!
