Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is Gods will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
This is one of those verses that I really need to have memorized, being so ingrained in me that it comes to mind when I need it. When I'm walking to class, or feeling unsettled at work. Why should I do these things?
1. It is Gods will for my life (and yours).
2. Because like all of God's commands, His glory and my well being are a result. As people, even as Christians, don't we always want the best for ourselves? And, as Christians, we want Gods best for our lives. As the Creator of the universe and the maintainer of all things, God knows what he's talking about. I'll trust that.
In other news - I finished by big semester long paper today! 41 pages of bliss. Too bad semester long turned into 2 week long. But, I didn't really expect anything different.
