While at Faithwalkers - in Missouri - I got about 76 emails. A HUGE portion of those were blog spam from THIS BLOG. See, I guess Matt enabled the system so that I preview comments. I'm just sick of deleting them. So - I enabled an email filter that catches all of them so they don't clog my gmail account up.
So, no comments will be posted, sorry. I don't really blog anymore anyway. So guys, it's been fun. But Matt you can probably delete this blog when you get around to it.
Happy Trails...
What does the Bible say about how to treat those of other religions, and about what kind of attitude to have toward them? I haven't spent much time thinking about this, but no verses have come to mind...yet.
Or are there any verses? Does there need to be? Do we regard those of other religions the same as those unaware or ignorant of the Good News, because well, they are?
Good News...he he he, I've been reading ?the NLT. Can ya tell?
I'm currently sitting in the HM Black Engineering building working on a MATLAB program. It's not working, so I thought I'd screw around for awhile. Okay, so I've been screwing around for awhile. When you're not sure why it's not working...it can be hard to find motivation to work on it. Staring at the screen, hoping maybe something will jump out.
I took my 1st final this morning, Con E 351. 28 minutes later I was finished. 3 more finals to go. I'm sure the rest will take much longer, and take hours more studying. But, it's that time of year again. I'm really looking forward to Christmas break. Being with family. Faithwalkers. Visiting Jamie in MN. Visiting Tom & the Omaha crew. Nick & Stacy getting married. Luke graduating. Extended time to study the Word without lots of other stuff to be thinking about or doing.
Better get back to work.
This is one of my favorite Psalms, Psalm 112.
Praise the LORD.
Blessed is the man who fears the LORD ,
who finds great delight in his commands.
His children will be mighty in the land;
the generation of the upright will be blessed.
Wealth and riches are in his house,
and his righteousness endures forever.
Even in darkness light dawns for the upright,
for the gracious and compassionate and righteous man.
Good will come to him who is generous and lends freely,
who conducts his affairs with justice.
Surely he will never be shaken;
a righteous man will be remembered forever.
He will have no fear of bad news;
his heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD .
His heart is secure, he will have no fear;
in the end he will look in triumph on his foes.
He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor,
his righteousness endures forever;
his horn will be lifted high in honor.
The wicked man will see and be vexed,
he will gnash his teeth and waste away;
the longings of the wicked will come to nothing.
