The Poll Of SALT II
Well we are looking for housing for SALT II. We found a church over by Caribou on Halsted. One block east called MB Union Street Church. We are looking into the dorms by Caribou and meeting at this church as one option.
The other option is staying in apartments around the Carm's Italian Ice ice shop, and meeting at the Agape House. It turns out that Carm the owner of the Italian Ice place has 48 apartments in the area.
I would be interested in hearing any Salter's opinions and comments, before we move much further.

I like both Ideas. First you have late night caribou runs, then you have late night italian ice runs. Choices, choices....

I like both...I like the more neighborhood feel of the area by Carm's. It seemed like there were a lot of college aged people around there...how much they would be willing to get to know us, who knows? And there's so much more character in the Carm's neighborhood as opposed to the carbon copied Caribou complex :)

You know, Autumn, things that seem canned, are alway the same, and are tasteless aren't necessarily bad. Everyone knows spam is canned, always the same, and tasteless, even though nobody really likes it.... O.K. bad example, but you know what I mean.

Coffee or Italian ice? I don't know. It's so hard! I think coffee wins, though. It has a thing called caffeine.

tom, you should have known that a food example like spam would fail with me...the world's pickiest eater. eww, eww, ewww. now christine, yes caffeine definitely wins. i practically become a heathen without it.
AND, this may come as a big shock, but...
i don't even like italian ice. *gasp-shock-biangs passing out*
but carm's diet pepsi is pretty good :)

I think that either way would be a good possibility. Near Carms would be nice because it is closer to the more student activities, however, as we discovered there arent a lot of college students around during the summer. :(
