Faith
Recently I was talking with some people that didn't believe that we had the ability to influence a persons heart in a meaningful way. These were Christian dads that didn't think they could influence their teens into discipleship.
The first point in my mind was the fact that they would never do what they never believed. They were defeated before they started.
I believe that the Great Commission commands us to influence people. Especially our own children.
If it is commanded... the grace must be there to accomplish the task.
Anyway we usually do what we believe!

Free Donuts and Coffee
Saturday September 11, 8:30 AM there will be free donuts and coffee at Stonebrook. While everyone is participating in the victuals, Tim Borseth and Chris Biang will be discussing SALT II and the Chicago Church Plant. This is open to anyone interested in learning more about next years' plans. I am sorry that there will be no Italian ice available at this meeting. If you have suggestions or questions throw them on the comment page OK? Thanks! Also if you are coming please say so in the comments. Plus I need to know where to get the best coffee in AMES. thanks Chris
