A Whole week's Vacation
So, it's official.... I"M HALFWAY DONE WITH SCHOOL!!! And, that, friends, warrants a whole week's vacation. So, I decided to skip town and hed out to visit the SALT'ers in chicago.
Today was pretty cool, as I reveal in how much God has done to heal me from anxieties about new people and crowds. I was able to go down and take a tour of Moody Bible Institue, where I was the only person in the tour and i got to spend an hour talking to this girl about God and random stuff. It was way better than if there had been a bunch of people on the tour with us.
Then I sat and read and prayed for awhile. I read Psalm 84, and I really liked the last verse, "O LORD Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in you."
This is just such a simple promise, but I've been habing a really hard time trusting god, especially when it comes to my heart, and areas where i have been hurt in the past. I've found it so hard to fully trust God, for fear that i would again be hurt... but that is not true, it says, "BLESSED is the mas who trusts in God."
