Isn't this exciting
This marks entry number 50. To celebrate I took myself down to the campustown DQ this afternoon for a cool treat**. Now, I love Dairy Queen. It's a fact. But, if we are honest with ourselves.....everyone has noticed the the proprieter of the DQ on Welch is...well...a little crabby. But, let me tell you! Today, I walked in, smiled my biggest smile and ordered by blizzard. And guess what? She smiled back, we had a pleasant conversation, and I walked out of there happily eating my ice cream. Not the biggest deal ever, but it was definitely a pleasant surprise. And you know what? I think the ice cream tasted better.
**events of this story may be altered for a more smooth transistion from opening statement to actual antecdote. (translation = I went to DQ before I even thought about the blog)
